Affordable Housing Development

Manufacturing Space Development

TLM Associates has assisted Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center secure over $25 million to develop Manufacturing space in New York City. To date, GMDC has developed eight manufacturing buildings providing good paying jobs to primarily City residents. GMDC was selected as the first recipient of funds from the newly created Industrial Development Fund administered by EDC, as well as being selected to participate in a groundbreaking mixed use development in Queens that will include manufacturing space alongside residential and commercial tenants.

Expanding Access to Fiber Optic Networks

TLM Associates represents Lightower, a leading provider of best of class fiber optic capabilities in the metropolitan area. With over 1,000 route miles of cabling in New York City alone, the Lightower fiber optic network entails 16 river crossings, multiple rights-of-way to enhance route diversity, and several bypasses to to maximize network traffic.

Energy Policy

As New York City continues to grow, energy requirements grow with it. Without cheap energy, business development is dampened and consumers pay a greater portion of income on energy. In the context of climate change and proposed emission limits for our built environment, how the cost of cleaner energy is shared by different sectors of the economy will determine the nature of development going forward.
